Arquebus was founded by former senior members of the United Kingdom’s National Ballistics Intelligence Service (NABIS) and is Chaired by the ex-Director General of the UK’s National Crime Agency. So, Arquebus is very experienced in firearms investigations, gun registration, intelligence and forensic services. Having been integrally involved in the creation of NABIS, the Arquebus management team is well versed in the complexities of local, national and transnational crime, including matters relating to the illegal trafficking of firearms, organised crime, and terrorism.

Since its establishment in 2012, Arquebus has worked extensively within the global policing and intelligence environments in over 50 countries. In doing so, Arquebus has and continues to work with a variety of law enforcement, government, non-governmental and inter-governmental organisations across the globe, including organisations such as the United Nations (UN) and the European Union (EU). Arquebus seeks to develop long-term partnerships with its customers and partners with one goal in mind, to reduce the impact of SALW misuse and make society safer.
